Ontario gets enlightened about sexual harrassment
Mar 6th, 2015
In a powerful new ad against sexual assault and harassment, male actors look directly at the camera and thank viewers for staying quiet.
"Thanks for minding your own business," one man says, while harassing his female co-worker.
"Thanks for keeping your mouth shut," a young man tells the viewer, as he hits on a drunk girl passed out on a sofa.
The ad, produced by the Kathleen Wynne-led Ontario government, puts the spotlight on people's responsibility to speak up and take action when they see someone about to be victimized.
