Real Housewives of Vancouver reveal true colours in person

Real Housewives of Vancouver cast members Reiko MacKenzie, Christina Kiesel, Mary Zilba and Ronnie Seterdahl Negus (Jody Claman was not present), talked with the Vancouver Observer today at the luxurious Loden Hotel, and turned out to be philanthropic, hard-working and interesting.

While the American 'Real Housewives' series brings up images of rich, attention-seeking women fed on copious amounts of Botox and wine, the Vancouver women were a lot more genuine than expected. Despite YouTube comments on the series teaser about how far off these housewives were from real Vancouverites (who really owns four houses in West Vancouver?), these women say they practice yoga, enjoy outdoor winter activities in the mountains, and put their families first.

Read more about the individual housewives, and watch for the in-depth profiles to appear tomorrow on The Vancouver Observer.
