Fan reflects on meeting Twilight cast and crew in B.C.

It's been more than a week since our Twilight friends left B.C., so what are they up to now? And how is Montreal's Mallory Proverbs, Twilight's bestest fan, dealing with the loss?

"KS (Kristen Stewart) and RP (Robert Pattinson) are no longer in Vancouver, but some of the Twilight cast have come back to the city to film fighting scenes," says Proverbs.

"KS and RP were last spotted filming in St.Thomas, re-shoots for the honeymoon scenes."

According to Celebrity News Online 7, the Twilight stars were "spotted strolling the beaches in St. Thomas and filming some steamy love scenes between Bella and Edward in the water."

Then Robert Pattinson went off to Europe. Kristenless.

The Daily Mirror reports that the two are on a break.

“Things have been a bit rocky for a while. They both have hectic work schedules, Rob in particular at the moment, and their phone calls were getting fewer and further between. They started to only see each other on set and began to drift apart until a general apathy developed," the Mirror writes.

“There have been a few tears, but the pair remain friendly. Kristen is hopeful of a reconciliation once Rob has finished promotion for his latest movie. But as things stand, they’re on a break and just mates.”

"R-Pattz and his co-star in Water for Elephants, Christoph Waltz, looked like they were having a blast today in Berlin at the Hotel de Rome for a photocall to greet the German press," reports OK! Magazine.

So what about Taylor Lautner?

It turns out that Lautner has a new flame: Lily Collins.

Apparently, the two met on the set of Abduction, Lautner's newest gig, and started dating. Like Robert and Kristen did long ago, reports likeitido.com.

"Taylor and Lily Collins were spotted enjoying a quite romantic meal together in British Columbia, Canada," says Wakey Wakey News.

“They spent the whole hour eating and were all smiles as they left,” said an onlooker.

Then there's new Vancouverite Charlie Bewley, who plays Demetri of the Volturi Guard. He has decided to fight cancer instead of other vampires. 

He will be running in the annual BMO Vancouver Marathon this Sunday to help raise funds for the Run for Your Life Campaign, and he's dedicating the run to the memory of a friend who passed away from cancer in February. Funds will be raised through a draw to see an advanced screening of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 with 20 friends.

Meantime, Proverbs remembers to the days Twilight cast and crew were in town:

"We literally dined with the entire cast right next to us one night. We just happened to be at the same restaurant. I mean, literally everyone was there, from the producer to the makeup artist – of course we couldn't take pics."

"We also met members of the wolf pack, both Amazon actresses. The Romanian Coven. Judi Shekoni and Tracey Heggins are pretty wicked girls."

"We went up to Judi when she first arrived in Vancouver outside her hotel, and she asked us if she could come back later to the cafe where we were staying to take our pics. We thought she was going to forget, but she didn't. An hour later, she took a pic with us and tweeted it to her twitter account!"

"We met some of the Denali Coven actors, the young actress Mackenzie Foy (spoiler alert!) who will be playing Bella and Edward's daughter. Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley) was amazing. My camera wasn't cooperating with me my pictures kept coming out green because of the flash, I started to panic. He then tells me, 'Calm down, make sure it's working, and I'll wait until it's working before I take a picture with anyone!'" says Proverbs.

"My most memorable moment, other than seeing KS and RP, was meeting (Twilight director) Bill Condon!" she gushed in an email.

"I've been a huge fan of his work for so long, and when I heard he was directing Breaking Dawn, I knew I wanted to be a part of it, as an extra. Didn't work out though :( . We were in Squamish, B.C., eating at a Fatburger, then we went to Booster Juice (a place frequented by Twilight cast member Boo Stewart). We then decided we should go to Starbucks for a coffee, and bam! Bill Condon was right there in line. I internally started screaming."

"I went up to him and said his name. He turned and genuinely started to smile. I told him that I was a huge fan, and he asked me what I was doing in Squamish, if I lived here or was on vacation. I said vacation."

"What I should have said was, 'I'm here to be in Breaking Dawn because you're directing it,' but the calm part of me decided not to. I took a picture with him, and he stood on the side while we ordered our beverages and kept staring at us. I was too shy to ask anything else, I didn't want to seem all stalkerish so we decided to leave but before we did Bill shouted out "Have a nice day, girls." I then replied " You made my entire year!"

She sends this message to Condon: "You made me interested in getting into film. Hope I meet you again. Maybe the Breaking Dawn premiere? :)"

"It wasn't the same without the Twilight cast in Vancouver. It was fun to see them literally every day. I hope, if Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are together (until I hear it from the horse's mouth I won't believe it), but I do hope they last for a very long, long, long time. It seems like they are two peas in a pod – from pictures and their chemistry when you see them," said Proverbs.

"Vancouver will always be connected to Twilight to ME!"
