Every week we answer a bunch of questions we wrote ourselves.

Your campaign to replace the Kurtenbloggers seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train, why are you so popular?” -Lisa S., Springfield

The Sports Couple:
Ooh, a tough question but a fair one. Lisa, there's no single answer. Some voters respond to our integrity, others are more impressed with our incorruptibility. Still others buy our determination to LOWER TAXES, AND THE BUREAUCRATS IN THE STATE CAPITAL CAN PUT THAT IN THEIR PIPES AND SMOKE IT!

“Shane, did you pick up milk on your way home from the bar?” -Shane’s mom, North Vancouver, BC

Shane:
“Yes mom”

“As a single, sports fan, new to Vancouver, what online dating service would you use?” -Paul, Burnaby, BC

Nolan:
Get out there and meet some women! Get a dog, go to a singles bar, start playing in a local co-ed sports league.

Shane:
www.adultfriendfinder.com

“The David Booth trade: good deal or great deal?” -Alicia Green, Wollongong, Australia

The Sports Couple:
Good deal. I am concerned with Booth’s long term cap hit and concussion issues. But adding a top bona fide top six forward for nothing is very hard to do. And he’s a pure sniper. Also, who cries when they get traded to Vancouver? Weak move, Booth.
