The first-ever JUNO Block Party rocked Toronto last night at Metro Square. Presented by SIRIUS Satellite Radio, the free outdoor concert featured City and Colour (Dallas Green), Rap Album of the Year nominee Shad, as well as New Artist and Songwriter of the Year nominee, Hannah Georgas.
Vancouverite Hannah Georgas will also be performing a show at The Drake on Saturday as part of JUNO Fest.
“We’re leaving no rock unturned as the JUNO Awards celebrates 40 years of Canadian music! The JUNO Block Party is yet another stellar example of the diverse programming honouring the 40th Anniversary of the JUNO Awards and offers something for everyone to enjoy,” said Melanie Berry, President & CEO of CARAS and the JUNO Awards.
