Real Housewives gives Zarin the boot

The Real Housewives of New York City gives cast member Jill Zarin the boot? No, she says. In an exclusive interview with Showbiz Tonight, Zarin sets the Season 5 record straight.

"There's no such thing as a pink slip when it comes to TV," Zarin said.

"It's really more of they ask you if you're interested in coming back, and then it's a negotiation -- with the money and the time and the terms and everything."
If you're interested in not coming back you mean?

"I think Bravo is speaking to all the Housewives and I think they are speaking to potential new Housewives and they need to figure out who is going to work with who," Zarin said.

Or who isn't going to work with who?

According to TV Examiner, over half of the Housewives cast, including Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon will all be fired before the next season even begins shooting.

Zarin plans to discuss her future in her newsletter, which can be found on her site.
