Summer School on Building Community June 11-18

Renew, learn and celebrate at the 2011 Summer School on Building Community, Saturday June 11 to Saturday June 18, hosted by Langara College Continuing Studies. Learn skills, develop strategies, and create visions for sustainable communities, sustainable work, culture and ecology. Workshops on ecological sustainability, social change, inequality, economics of poverty, community mapping, nonviolent communication, food security, gardening, beekeeping, self-care, community arts, and more!

Also featuring Inequality: The Biggest Barrier to Sustainability a day-long event on Monday June 13 with well-known journalist Linda McQuaig, co-author of The Trouble with Billionaires: Why too much money at the top is bad for everyone.
