Vision files defamation suit against NPA's Kirk LaPointe

Vision Vancouver’s Mayor Gregor Robertson and councillor Geoff Meggs filed a defamation suit against the NPA and its mayoral candidate, Kirk LaPointe, today. 

The suit against LaPointe and the NPA seeks a complete retraction, damages, costs, and the pulling of the ads that ran from Nov.4 onwards.

Vision hired Harper Grey LLP lawyer Bryan G. Baynham to defend the claims.

We could not reach the NPA for comment at the time of publication.  We will update this story when we have a comment back from the NPA.
