Restaurants: where to eat in Whistler, BC

If you plan to dine-out during your stay in Whistler, there are a variety of places to find delicious eats.

If you're near Blackcomb around lunchtime, be sure to check out Portobello - Market and Fresh Bakerylocated in the lower lobby of the Fairmont hotel.

This local favourite is a great spot to take in the rich aroma of fragrant coffees and freshly baked bread, with quick and friendly service that makes the food taste even better.

At Portobello's deli-style cafe, you can customize a sandwich with your choice of bread, ingredients and sauces. This is definitely the place to try out a unique sandwich combination—give the turkey and cranberry spread on a croissant a try. It's exceptional.

If you're looking to grab a quick bite and escape the cold while on the mountain, another great pick is Merlin's Bar and Grill, located in Whistler Upper Village at the base of Blackcomb.

Merlin's Bar and Grill

Merlin's offers basic pub food, but it's the mountain chalet atmosphere that makes this spot memorable. With its extremely convenient location, dishes between $10 and $30, and additional outdoor seating with a mountain view, it's a perfect choice for a mid-day break.
