Salt Spring in the City pops up on Main Street
Over thirty artisans will bring Salt Spring to Main Street's Heritage hall this Friday, March 4th to Sunday March 6th. Entry is $4 for adults and free for kids.
For a third year running, Salt Spring in the City – a curated pop-up village market – returns to Vancouver from March 4 to 6 to showcase the treasures and flavours of the Salish Sea.
Over thirty vendors have been invited with strict criteria for inclusion meaning the product must be designed, and produced on Salt Spring Island. The Vancouver showcase includes food and fashion, paintings and pottery, wine and crafts, and a sense of nostalgia for the West Coast’s homesteading practices.
Vendors bring an island menu that will tease the palate, the eye, and all the senses with Salt Spring offerings that are as diverse as the island’s population.
Salt Spring in the City admission is $4 for adults, and free for kids 13 and under. Visitors to the show will have a unique opportunity to discover the best of what the Island has to offer, as well as win an exciting array of prizes.
The first 25 people through the door each day receive a gift of Salt Spring Island goodies.
Venue: Heritage Hall, at 15th & Main Street
