St. Patrick's Day cocktail: orange chocolate dream with Bailey's
St. Patrick’s Day is coming up on Sunday. To celebrate the occasion, here is a cocktail recipe featuring Baileys Irish Cream. This dessert drink is creamy and yields a subtle orange flavour that is reminiscent of orange ice cream popsicles.
- 1 - 1/2 Oz white chocolate liqueur
- 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- ¾ oz cointreau
- Cocoa powder and sugar (for the glass rim)
Dampen the rim of the martini glass with an orange and rim the glass with a mix of cocoa powder and sugar. Pour the ingredients into shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into martini glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
Tip: This drink can be quite sweet, so try shaking the cocktail a bit longer than usual to dilute it.
