My words trapped                                                                                                                                                       Behind bullet proof glass

And corporate lawsuit language                                                                                                                                 While outside an uprising

Burnt state’s records                                                                                                                                                         Of all the things that had been done

And the lawyers called to say                                                                                                                                   Money had given up

And fresh Indigenous villages                                                                                                                                   Sprang up where settlements

Now dim and powerless                                                                                                                                             Faded beneath rising waves —

What am I but turbulence                                                                                                                                           Outside the text
