Cops Release Sketch of West Side Sex Assault Suspect

Vancouver Police are releasing a composite sketch and are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault that took place on Vancouver’s west side.

At about 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 2nd, a woman was approached by a man in the 7600 block Arbutus Street. The man followed her and then groped her.

Police have reason to believe that another woman in the area may have also been approached by this same man.

He is described as white, 30-40 years old, 5’10” tall with a medium build. He had a light coloured goatee and was wearing a light coloured knit toque, a scarf, a dark jacket and dark pants.
