Claire Livia Lassam is a baker, blogger and food writer. She got her first job as a prep cook at the age of 17 and has completely immersed herself in food ever since. She has since done just about any job possible in a restaurant, from chef to bartender, pastry chef to oyster shucker. She has loved almost every moment of it. A few years back after being laid off she started a baking blog, and fell helplessly in love with food writing. She has written for various local and national publications and has had her work featured in Apartment Therapy and TheKitchn.
