Cover Girl for Climate Change

Congratulations to local BC resident and leading environmentalist, Tzeporah Berman, for making the cover of not one, but two leading magazines: Readers Digest and Vancouver Magazine.

Tzeporah Berman featured in Readers Digest Magazine

Heralded as an "Eco-Activist Rock Star" by The Tyee, and an "Enviro Hero" by GreenLiving, BC resident and Executive Director of PowerUP Canada, Tzeporah Berman has been called many things, but "Covergirl" is a first.

"As of today I am in bathrooms and dentists office across Canada," she says in response to her recent cover shoots for both Readers Digest as well as Vancouver Magazine.  Featured in both these magazines because of her hard work as one of Canada's leading Environmentalists, Berman's timing couldn't have been better.

Today, Oct 15th, 2009 is Blog Action Day. A day for bloggers around the world to unite in support of the environment by writing posts about climate change.

So in celebration of Blog Action Day, congratulations Tzeporah Berman on all your acomplishments!
