BC Home and Garden Show this weekend at BC Place

This weekend BC Place is the place to find your next home design inspiration. At the BC Home and Garden Show they have everything from home design, gardening, pools, kitchen tools, paving and more.

There's a whisper of spring in the air in Vancouver. The cherry blossom banners are up, the days are longer and the BC Home and Garden Show is kicking off the season at BC Place from February 20th-24th.


BC Place is packed full of vendors this weekend for all of your home and garden needs. You can truly find something for everyone; from delicious  Firefighter Chili cookoffs to garden tours, a kids zone, beers and bites, ask a decorator, sewing workshops and more.


Celebrity guests speaking on the HGTV mainstageinclude Brain Baumler, Master Contractor and Paul Lafrance outdoor contractor from the hit show Canada's Handyman Challenge. Realtors, Sarah Daniels and Philip Doumoulin from HGTV's Urban Suburban show will be speaking onstage as well as a plethora of other speakers featured all weekend long. Chef's Ned Bell and Chuck Curry will be on the Home Cooking Stage cooking up tasty treats for guests to taste.

Outdoor patio pods, expandable hoses and knives that can cut through leather are just a few of the interesting booths to check out this weekend at the home show. Make a wish in the indoor Children's Wish Foundation fountain pond, designed by West Coast Modern Scape with all proceeds going towards the Make A Wish Foundation.
