Apples Celebrated by 20,000 at UBC Botanical Garden This Weekend

Organizers of the annual Apple Festival at the UBC Botanical Garden said 20,000 people attended either today or yesterday. Organized by UBC's Friends of the Garden (FOGs).  By 2 p.m. today, tickets were completely sold out for the apple tasting exhibits but candied apples going for as high as seven dollars were readily available.
