Gordon Ramsay's first Canadian restaurant opens today

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is to open his first Canadian restaurant in Montreal today. The 75-year-old Rotisserie Laurier BBQ, which he bought two years ago, gets a Ramsay makeover, and a new name: Laurier Gordon Ramsay. The Scottish badass apparently thought it looked too much like a retirement home.

The restaurant was a local fave ever since it opened in 1936, according to CTV News, and there was a number of complaints in regards to its closure in the first place. Now, many wonder if the regulars will stick around.

"Don't worry. We've changed, but we've heard you, and your favourites are still here," Ramsay assured the Montreal Gazzete.
