1.  The Arkells

As a group, The Arkells are 30 feet and 3 inches tall. This Friday, they'll be a little bit taller when they perform live on stage at Commodore Ballroom. The Canadian rock band returns to Vancouver this Friday, as part of their Western Canada Tour. By the end of the concert, you'll want to pick up a guitar and start your own band, Punk News read.   2.  Vancouver Recital Society: Alexander Melnikov
