Happy holidays: Your numerology cycles for December 16–31
In November, my friend Lindsay’s Siamese cat was eaten by a coyote in False Creek. The cat was a great hunter himself. “He knew the game,” Lindsay said when she finally accepted that the cat was gone. December’s darkest days remind us of the shadowy parts of life, which make the Christmas lights shine all the brighter. Happy holidays!
To find out what the rest of December has in store, calculate your key number by adding the day and month of your birth. Continue adding until you arrive at a single digit. For example, if your birthday is October 14, your personal number is determined as follows: 10 + 14 = 24. Then 2 + 4 = 6, and you have the key number (6) that you will keep for life.
Key number 1
We are almost at the end of the year, and you are well equipped, under the energy of this cycle month, to deal with the overwhelming feeling that usually comes with the holidays. Or perhaps, because you are so organized, everything will already be in place. Under this energy, you are more likely to be extravagant, so some restraint is in order. Aside from the holiday madness, take time to clarify your goals for next year. This month contains an energy under which you can dream big dreams, and the courage and stability to activate them is within reach. Celebrate! You have earned it.
Key number 2
You may find, under the energy of this cycle month, that you have a stronger desire than usual to give, give, give. This affects most of us at Christmas time, but you are particularly vulnerable to this emotion in the last two weeks of December. Generosity is a good quality, but keep your boundaries in place. Exhausting yourself is not a good idea, but you will be tempted. This is a particularly poignant energy. Don’t be surprised if you feel a little weepy—Christmas carols and holiday music can do that. As you did in the first two weeks of December, continue to look at what is not working for you, especially in career life. And pay attention to what you say. Loose lips, sink ships—especially friendships.
Key number 3
It’s mid-month and the pressure is on. However, for you, the energy of this time can be optimistic. Your inner dynamo is ready to give you all of the energy that you need to survive the holiday season. Under this cycle vibration, you are advised to do “good things,” not just because of the holidays, but also because the energy of this cycle month is about new beginnings. Take a fresh look at how you choose to respond to those around you, work, relationships and even habits, and notice where a little tweaking could make life better for yourself, and for those around you. Under this cycle energy, you can choose to be the Santa with a bag full of encouragement for those around you.
Key number 4
As I recommended for the first two weeks of December, continue to look after yourself until the end of the year. Healthy boundaries, healthy food, and a healthy attitude toward family and loved ones are essential to surviving this season while you are under a very sensitive cycle vibration. Be kind and generous to those around you while still keeping a close eye on what you need in order to be happy. Perhaps this doesn’t seem like the holiday spirit personified, but under certain cycle energies, and this is one of them, emotional survival is more important than being popular. It’s possible to be jolly and wise at the same time.
