Composite released of suspicious man near Joyce Street skytrain station

The Vancouver Police released a composite drawing of a person of interest following last week’s public appeal for information related to multiple harassment complaints from women in the area of the Joyce Skytrain Station.

Investigators are looking at possible links between seven incidents in the past several weeks in which this man allegedly approached and harassed young women in their early 20s, during the afternoon and evening hours. He approached the women both on foot and from his car.

One of the women reported that she has been targeted three times. Investigators are looking for a dark-skinned man, 25 to 30 years, approximately 5’9″ to 5’10″ tall with an average build, short black hair, long eyelashes and a large nose. He was seen driving a newer model, four-door black vehicle.

If you have information regarding the possible identity of this man or if you believe that you’ve had contact with him, please call the VPD Criminal Harassment Unit at (604) 717-0617 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
