Body found burned in van in East Vancouver

Police are investigating after a body has been found inside a van in East Vancouver.

Shortly before 6:00 this morning, a van parked on Victoria Drive near East 12th Avenue was found burning. Fire crews extinguished the flames and a body was discovered inside.

The victim has not been positively identified. Police and fire investigators are on scene to  determine the cause of the fire.
