Man shot dead while walking dog on Seventh and Ash: pictures

A hooded man reportedly fled after firing six shots and fatally wounding a man walking a dog at West 7th and Ash.

Police have the neighourhood locked down as they search for a suspect and have shut off streets within a block of the crime to pedestrians and traffic.

Police could be seen an hour ago going into nearby buildings, apparently in an effort to question witnesses and locate the murderer.

No information has been released yet by police about the motive for the shooting.
