Barry Carl Hinchcliff reported missing; police seek information

Police  are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 44 year old Vancouver man, an email alert from the Vancouver police department to the city's news media just said.


Barry Carl Hinchcliffe was last seen at about 7 p.m. on September 20th leaving his home in the 900 block Expo Boulevard in Vancouver, police report. Hinchcliffe was driving a grey 2009 Toyota Tacoma bearing B.C. plate BH8539 when he left his home, police believe, heading for Mission.

Missing person Barry Carl Hichcliffe description:

White, 5’7”, 170 lbs., with short sandy-coloured hair, and brown eyes. It is not known what he was last wearing.


Family members have told police that the extended absence is uncharacteristic and that Hinchcliffe normally stays in touch with them.


Anyone seeing Barry Hinchcliffe or his vehicle is asked to contact their local police.
