Police release sketch of suspect in seawall attacks

 VPD Sex Crimes investigators are releasing a composite drawing after two women were assaulted on the seawall in the past few days.

 The first assault took place on August 13th at approximately 10:00 p.m., when a 42 year old woman was walking her dogs under the Granville Street Bridge.

On August 15th, shortly after 12:30 a.m., a second assault took place on the seawall near the Aquatic Centre under the Burrard Street Bridge.


Police are looking for a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, with fair skin, approximately 6’ tall, with a stock, muscular build. He had short, dark hair worn in a brush cut, he was clean-shaven and he was wearing a black button-down shirt with short sleeves and a collar, dark jeans and running shoes.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact their tip line at 604-717-0600.
