Hit and Run at King Edward and St. George Leaves Man Dead

A pedestrian struck at E. King Edward Avenue and St. George Street on December 19th has died of his injuries.
 
The 27 year old Vancouver man was crossing St. George Street when an eastbound vehicle struck him.
 
The man has still not been identified.  It appears that he may have been out for a jog as he was wearing a black windbreaker, grey shorts, and white running shoes. He had an I-pod and was carrying a set of keys that included keys to a GMC vehicle.
 
Anyone with information on the possible identity of the pedestrian or who may have witnessed the event and has yet to speak with investigators can call the Vancouver Police Collision Investigation Unit at 604-717-3012.
