Suspicious Item Causes Police to Cordon Off Area of Grandview Highway

Vancouver Police have cordoned off an area in the 3100 block of Grandview Highway after a restoration worker brought what he believed was possibly a stick of dynamite from North Vancouver to Vancouver. The worker became concerned after having the item in his vehicle for a while and called police shortly after 5:00 pm to help him dispose of it properly.

The area will be cordoned off as police officers attempt to determine what the item is and safely dispose of it.
