Sexual Assault at Pacific Centre

A 27-year old man has been charged after a woman had her buttocks grabbed while working at Pacific Centre Mall, 700 W Georgia Street.

The man allegedly entered a store in the mall and began whistling and making lude comments toward a 19-year old female employee, then approached her and tried to touch her hair before suddenly grabbing her buttocks.

The woman called security and explained what was happening all the while the man remained in the store trying to converse with her.

The man was then seen turning his attention to a customer and stroking her hair before finally leaving the store.

Alert security officers from Sears apprehended the man and held him for Vancouver Police after a report of an assault on another woman whose blouse was grabbed in another location in the mall.

Moustafa Amin, a North Vancouver resident, is charged with sexual assault.
