The Idlers say hello to Vancouver after their Ruckus on the Edge show for the 2010 Juno Awards Week

See video

The Idlers from St. John's, Newfoundland put on a great show at Ruckus on the Edge, 2010 Juno Awards Week.

Ruckus on the Edge’s rock night kept it local with a stellar line-up of bands from right here in St. Johns.  Highlights of the night were the eclectic Idlers, who created a night of pounding drums and electric riffs and of course a healthy dose of jumping around.

St. John’s favorite ska-reggae-rock band brought the energy up on-stage and off with their eleven-piece outfit.  Between the trumpet, guitars, saxes, percussion and raucous vocals, the Idlers have a way of making feet move.  Because their sound is such a mixture of cultural styles, they’re hard to peg but easy to love.

Kei spent some rather rowdy time with this ragtag team of musicians as they showed off their yoga moves in the hallway of the Delta Hotel. The Idlers will be heading over to play in various spots in British Columbia this coming May and June.
