In Love With the Mystery

Paul Horn and Ann Mortifee. photo: Wendy Dallian

Ann Mortifee, author, singer-songwriter and playwright, has created a stunning photo-illustrated book of inspirational writings, In Love with the Mystery, and a companion Music CD with her husband, world-renowned musician Paul Horn. On the companion CD recorded with Paul Horn on flutes, Ann’s voice transports the listener. This inspired musical offering, a marriage of two visionary souls travelling together, is an added gift to be experienced alone or in union with the book.”

Music: Paul Horn, Miles Black and Edward Henderson

Vocals and Spoken Word: Ann Mortifee

“Photographs by Courtney Milne, one of Canada’s finest photographers, creator of the award winning book, The Sacred Earth. Sadly, this was Courtney's final collaborative work. He recently passed away at his home in Saskatchewan.”

Sitting in the lobby of the CBC, Ann Mortifee and Paul Horn talk about Mortifee's new book, In Love With the Mystery.
