Despite rain and cuts to the arts, East Van keeps Lost Souls Parade alive
The Lost Souls is a vital component of East Vancouver's cultural vitality. After the BC arts funding massacre, there was uncertainty as to whether this event could survive.

Swarms of Vancouver residents gathered to immerse themselves in the carnivalesque festivities. This is a story told with pictures. Photography courtesy of Simon Beaumont.
