Emmanuelle Vaugier cast alongside Piper Perabo in new USA Network series 'Covert Affairs'

Alluring actor Emmanuelle Vaugier has been cast alongside Piper Perabo in the new USA Network crime series ‘Covert Affairs’. The series follows Annie Walker (Perabo), a young beauty training to become a CIA operative. After witnessing an assassination, she is plunged into a world of intrigue and constant danger, where nothing is as it seems and no one, not even her closest new associates, can be trusted. Emmanuelle plays Liza Hearn in the film, a renowned journalist/blogger, not afraid to push boundaries-no matter whose toes she steps on. The series is set to premiere this summer, in July 2010. Emmanuelle is also appearing on TV this month when she returns to her popular role as Mia on the May 17th episode of the award-winning comedy ‘Two and a Half Men’, starring Charlie Sheen. The episode, airing at 9pm ET/PT on CBS, is the second-last of the season for the hit comedy.

The vivacious actor also recently appeared in a recurring role on the popular new FOX action/drama series ‘Human Target’.  She also just finished shooting her new role for the innovative Showcase series ‘Lost Girl’. The series takes place in a secretive world of drama and intrigue that occurs in the shadows, just out of our sight. You may also recognize her from the three seasons she played Detective Jessica Angell on ‘CSI: NY‘.

On the big screen, Emmanuelle is just as recognizable, with roles in the chilling horror franchise 'Saw', the Stephen King thriller 'Dolan's Caddillac', the comedy '40 Days and 40 Nights', the upcoming ensemble feature 'Hollywood Untitled'; and she recently wrapped production on 'Mirrors 2', a sequel to the hit 2008 horror ‘Mirrors’, starring Keifer Sutherland.
