Brett Dier Appearing in Hit TV Shows on ABC and CWTV in April
Bright, young Canadian actor Brett Dier is making his mark on the entertainment industry, with a number of exciting upcoming projects in the works. First up, Brett is set to appear on two popular television shows in early April: The hit ABC series ‘V’, and the long-running fan favorite, the CW series ‘Supernatural’. ‘V’ takes place in a world where an alien race who call themselves "The Visitors", come to earth and appear to want peace, but they may be hiding a truly horrifying agenda. Brett plays James on the episode, an attractive yet mysterious character that has a quiet sadness and sense of loss surrounding him. The episode airs on April 6th at 10/9 C. Brett can also be seen on ‘Supernatural’, which follows two brothers who are raised with knowledge of the supernatural, and are taught to be warriors, with skills to fight back against the unknown and protect the innocent. Brett plays Dylan on the episode- a brave young man who fights in a local militia- when it airs on Thursday, April 8th at 9/8C.
Brett also recently finished filming on the MTV feature film ‘Made the Movie’, which follows a band nerd, Bethany, in her quest to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a cheerleader. Brett plays Marshall in the movie, the handsome football quarterback who just happens to be dating a popular cheerleader, and is Bethany’s brother. Made the Movie’ is set for release in 2010.
Born in London, Ontario, this charismatic actor has always known that performing was in his future. When he was just six years old he began choreographing fight scenes and monologues to perform to any audience he could attract. Since then, he worked diligently on making his dream a reality. Brett has accumulated a number of impressive film and television credits to his name in his first few years in the entertainment industry. His film credits include the upcoming comedy ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’, starring Steve Zahn, ‘Battle in Seattle’, starring Charlize Theron, and ‘Dear Mr. Gacy’, which tells the story of notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy, played by William Forsythe. His television credits include ‘Kaya’, ‘Fear Itself’, ‘The Troop’, ‘Smallville’, ‘Aliens in America’, and lead roles in the MOWs ‘Family in Hiding’, ‘Every Second Counts’, and ‘Goblin’, set for release later this year.
