Gabrielle Miller to Guest Star in New CBS Show NCIS
Actor Gabrielle Miller is back on television, with a guest-starring role on the hit CBS show NCIS. Her episode airs Tuesday, March 16th at 10 p.m. est/pst. This isn’t Gabrielle’s first role on a CBS series: She also appeared in the popular detective show ‘Cold Case’ last fall. Gabrielle is returning to the small screen for the first time since the series finale of her wildly popular groundbreaking comedy series ‘Corner Gas’, after taking some time off to spend time with her family. Gabrielle is one of Canada’s most celebrated performers. She most recently won the 2009 Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series for her role on ‘Robson Arms’.
The award-winning actor is widely recognized for her lead roles on two of Canada’s hottest shows: the runaway hit CTV series ‘Corner Gas’, the highest rated comedy program in Canadian television history, and the critically acclaimed dramedy ‘Robson Arms’. She has over 60 other film and television credits to her name, including ‘Elijah’, ‘Holiday in Handcuffs’ and ‘Love and Other Dilemmas’, as well as recurring roles on the television series’ ‘Breaking News’ and ‘Pasadena’, and guest-star appearances on ‘Frasier’, ‘The X-Files’, ‘DaVinci’s Inquest’ and ‘The Outer Limits’, to name a few.
The captivating performer has a number of accolades to her name, including being voted “Canada’s Favorite Female Television Star” in TV Guide’s Annual Readers Poll. Combined, Gabrielle has garnered 12 Gemini and Leo Award nominations, which honor the best in Canadian television. She was the 2007 recipient of the Best Actress Gemini, and took home two consecutive Leo Awards for Best Performance in a Music, Comedy, or Variety Program or Series, as well as the Best Supporting Actress in a Dramatic Series Leo in 2007. In addition to winning at the Gemini Award, and being honored by the Academy Salute to Corner Gas, Gabrielle had the privilege of presenting the Earle Grey Award to her dear friend and Corner Gas co-star Eric Peterson at the 2009 Gemini Awards.
Gabrielle has been a stand-out in her industry, since she began acting 17 years ago.
