Pawsitively Sweet Vegan Bake Sale to benefit BCSPCA

Kari Chellouf's Va-Va-Voom Vegan Chocolate Peppermint Truffles.  Click here to learn how to make some for yourself, or as a donation.

On Wednesday, March 9 from 6:30pm until 9:30, Radha Yoga and Eatery at 728 Main Street will be hosting the Pawsitively Sweet Vegan Bake Sale, the proceeds of which will go to benefit the BC SPCA.  All of the 100% vegan baked goods will be generously donated by volunteer bakers, and sold by donation.  The event will also feature a live acoustic performance by electropsych band ARCTIC.

The menu already includes such mouth-watering vegan treats as flourless cashew cookies, raw organic chocolate bon-bons, pistachio rosewater cookies, and pink lemonade cake with vanilla frosting (just to name a few), but the more the merrier, so if you think you've got the vegan baking chops and you'd like to support the BCSPCA by donating to the bake sale, please sign up here

When asked which items would be in highest demand among patrons, a Radha employee laughingly replied, "Anything with chocolate.  Probably brownies. ...The most decadent things go really fast. And it's all by donation, so it's such a good deal."

Remember, all submissions must be completely vegan: no dairy, eggs, or even honey is allowed, and you should also include a list of ingredients for the reference of those with allergies.
