Buffoons strike again in Vancouver April Fools Day. No arrests or injuries reported.

Video by Michael Julian Berz

This is a public confession. I am no longer worthy of the title buffoon. I have let my tribe down. Betrayed our code of honour: to show up wherever and whenever called to satirize human beings and their doings.

What could have prevented me? The rain? Limousine phobia?

No excuse.

All I can do to try to make it up to Madame Rouge, our fearless and vulgar Mistress of Buffoonery, is to show you all what I missed seeing myself.

("The painting studio?" she cried. "You didn't join us because you were in the painting studio?!")

And so, dear readers, by way of apology, I post this video to commemorate the event I was too "busy" to help create.

Happy Birthday, Vancouver!
