Toast to the Coast: A night of oceanwise food and BC's best wines

On Friday October 12th, unite with 500 foodies and wine lovers as the Vancouver Aquarium is transformed into a magical after-hours experience, in support of aquatic conservation. With 100 percent of the proceeds going to support research and education programs, this evening of decadent food and wine is not to be missed. 

With the enchanting backdrop of the aquarium at night, guests will indulge in exquisite canapés from leading Ocean Wise™ Restaurants, and sample some of B.C.’s best local wines.

Participating Ocean Wise™ restaurants include: YEW Restaurant + Bar, Sonora Room, Miradoro Restaurant, The Donnelly Group, Oyster, C Restaurant, Savoury Chef, Provence Restaurants, Tableau Bar Bistro, Hillside Winery & Bistro, The Fish House in Stanley Park, Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co., and Wild Rice.

Choices Market Bakery, Benton Brothers Cheese and Gone Crackers will also be providing snacks to nosh on while guests mingle and sip on wine. Dessert will be provided by The Observatory at Grouse Mountain and Soirette Macarons and Tea to be served with Nespresso.

Participating BC wineries include: Blasted Church Vineyards, Iniskillin Wines, Quails Gate Estate Winery, Neck of the Woods Winery, Wild Goose Winery, Thornhaven Estates Winery,Covert Farms Estate Winery, Red Rooster Winery, Poplar Grove and many more. All wineries are located in either the Okanagan or the Gulf Islands.

For those who like to mix it up there will also be beer from Granville Island Brewery, including their Lions Winter Ale, and a welcome cocktail from Trevor Kallies of the Donnelly Group.

DJ Leanne, the "Girl On Wax", known for her expansive repertoire of music will be ripping tunes all night long, so be sure to where shoes that are not only chic, but are functional on the dance floor. 

Be prepared to shop a bit too as there will also be a silent auction with donations from the BC Lions, Cactus Club, West Coast Sight Seeing, Vancouver Fashion Week and a variety of other eateries, photographers and Vancouver attractions.
