Hottest events in Vancouver this week

Come for a beer, stay for the show, says Kelly. Does not apply only to the Burlesque Beauties. Photo Burlesque Beauties Facebook page

We sincerely hope you manage to escape the rain (unless it’s raining wine - hence, Kelly was discovering New Zealand’s drops … not to mention how jealous we are of her sweet mingling with celebrity chef Bruno Feldeisen). Need ideas? Here’s what you can do this weekend and beyond. Perhaps you want to help the orphans of the Syrian revolution and relief campaigns with one of a kind t-shirt painting show, or discover the backstage of American public hospital struggling to care for a community of largely uninsured patients. How about changing yourself, your community or your city (for the better, of course)? You can also help build up-and-coming anarchist space, and of course don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes!

A thank you note to all those who’ve applied to become part of the Hive, we’ll let you all know ASAP where we land! If you’re still interested, please send your applications in by Sunday March 17th - yes it can be in green!

--- Picks brought to you by your fellow bees Kelly, Miraj, Evi, Ajay, and curated by Iva (for the penultimate time - motherland is calling). Subscribe to our newsletter here
