Artisan cheese, charcuterie and wine during the Salt Cellar Series
If you have ever been to Salt Tasting Room you are probably aware that they have a 30 foot communal long table located below the kitchen, bar and main seating area. The Salt Cellar, as they call it, bears no windows and the walls are made of concrete, creating a rustic, dimly lit space with a unique atmosphere.
Two to three times a month, Salt Tasting Room opens up their cellar for guests to sample a tasting menu built around wines from a selected winery, paired with artisanal cheeses, small-batch charcuterie, and house-made condiments. Their expertise in wine and food pairing provides a rewarding tasting experience that supports local producers.
Each event features the wines of leading producers from BC and abroad, hosted by the winemaker or winery representative to introduce each wine.
