Vaisakhi parade celebrates the birth of Sikh community: photos

Vaisakhi, a traditional harvest festival that marks the birth of the Sikh religious community (known as khalsa), took over Main and Fraser street this afternoon as men and women in colourful costumes came out to take part in an annual parade.
