Bee Vancity TOP 3 FAVE events:

1. Work Less Party PARTY -  Spring Carnival
DANCE Mar 26 8PM | Japanese Hall | Adv $13 w/ costume + more at door

In true spring time tradition, the Work Less Party presents the annual Spring Carnival! A celebration of art, music, dance and even more dancing! Artfully dance off your dancing shoes to the music made by artistically inclined, highly danceable musicians and artists. Pull out your tickle trunk and dress up for this party.  Dress code is simple: Outrageous, go nuts, go crazy, Carnival.  You've survived the rain, snow, rain and rain (heck we live in a rainy westcoast).  But now cast away the shadow of wintery doubt and dress for that one moment of complete blissful equinoctial insanity! A feather, a fadora or even less than that, what ever ya want.  You don’t want to miss this!

2.
Bridging the Gap
THINK Sat Mar 26 all day | Convention Centre | $50 (students) / $125

Our Engineers Without Borders friends are hosting the 8th annual Bridging the Gap Conference this Saturday! They've moved from UBC to all new LEED-Platinum Vancouver Convention Centre. With the theme "Building Opportunity, Catalyzing Change," professional and student delegates will examine the influence of our choices at home, on the development field, in parliament, and in boardrooms. Bridging the Gap 2011 is part of the Canadian effort to catalyze practical solutions in international development.

3.
Creative Commons
DANCE Mar 26 | W2 | $5 <11pm / $10 >11pm

W2 Storyeum has been a hub for creative community engagement and is soon wrapping up. Honey Bee Steve has run Change Camp, Wiring the Social Economy and the BC CCEDNET conference there and will dearly miss the space and amazing crew. Come out for a night of grimy beats and dancing while you show your love and support for the creative commons that our local community has built this past year at W2 Storyeum. Saturday night will be a fundraiser for W2 Community Media Arts Society and an active night of sounds and visuals. An  eclectic lineup of Producers and Vj’s present an edgy mix of ambient, experimental and some grinding live electronics, dubstep, and breaky techno sounds.
