FIFA World Cup day 10 preview

Didier Drogba and his Ivory coast teammates will be looking to pull off a huge upset against Brazil.

The Slovaks are coming off a very disapointing draw against New Zealand. Slovakia had played very poorly and arguably deserved to lose against New Zealand. Slovakia will need at least a point to have a chance of advancing, but will probably looking for three points against Paraguay so they may only have to get a draw against Italy.

If Slovakia want to win Marek Hamsik will have to play much better than he did against New Zealand. Paraguay's View Paraguay are coming off a good tie against defending champions Italy.

Paraguay actually looked the better in their game against Italy, and had a let down when their keeper misjudged a cross preventing them from winning the game. A win tommorrow would put Paraguay in a very good position to advance to the 2nd round as their last game is against New Zealand.

Italy's  prognosis

The Italians were very disappointing in their opening game against Paraguay. Gianluigi Buffon is out for at least their game against New Zealand, so the Italians probably won't get bailed out of mistakes made by their backline. The Italians should be able to pick up three points but it is never a sure thing as we have seen with some huge upsets happening at this year's World Cup.

New Zealand's prognosis

The All Whites are coming into their second game after a historic tie with Slovakia. New Zealand looked much better than many experts thought they would be. New Zealand must try to test whoever is Italy's backup goalie is.

Especially with the amount of mistakes being made by Keepers are making due to the movement of the Jabulani ball. Brazil's View The Brazilians had to break down a stubborn North Korean defense in their first game. Brazil finally found their breakthrough with a fantastic goal from Maicon.

The Brazilians know they will have to play better against the Ivory Coast especially players like Kaka and Luis Fabiano who were almost invisible against North Korea. If Brazil don't have a better performance they won't beat a strong Ivory Coast squad that is looking to advance to the second round of the world cup for the first time ever.

Cote D'ivoire's View The Ivory Coast battled to a stalemate against Portugal in their first game. With Didier Drogba set to start tommorrow Cote D'Ivoire will have a way stronger attack. The Toure brothers Kolo and Yaya will be the key to shutting down Brazil's attack.

If the Toure Brothers don't let Brazil control the game Cote D'ivoire may not just be able to tie Brazil but beat the Brazilians.
