Dr Sketchy’s & Camilla d’Errico

Part art class, part cabaret and an evening of cocktails, drawing and decadence! The Dr Sketchy's Art Star Series features burlesque art models dressed as characters from the paintings of Vancouver based artists. Local art star, Camilla D'Errico, will be at this special Dr Sketchy's and expect to see her paintings come to life on stage for this 3 hour drawing session! You bring your art supplies and Little Miss Risk and Little Woo will pose as girls from Camilla's anime inspired paintings on a 360 degree stage for your sketching delight.

Taboo Revue Burlesque Variety Show

The Taboo Revue is Vancouver’s biggest and longest running Burlesque show. It features an ever changing lineup of singing, dancing, variety, comedy and striptease acts. The show is funny, sexy and empowering and is a great time for everyone.

As Mark Twain said, “ Explore. Dream. Discover”. The Vancouver premier of the documentary film, One Week Job, follows the star, Sean Aiken, as he works 52 jobs in 52 weeks trying to find his passion. There will be post film Q&A with Sean Aiken and director Ian MacKenzie.

Our friend Siavash Rokni's gypsy band MezamaJING is playing their heart out this upcoming Monday. If you want to dance craJEE then come and support local music. Mezamazing was an animal born in 2007, under strictly irrational circumstances, in a rabid, cross-cultural stew of sonic hunger. Their 12-member band comes from various corners of the world- from Greece to Iran, Bosnia to Russia across Alberta, India, Africa, East Van and beyond!
