The world's top-ranked cowgirls and cowboys compete every year at the Cloverdale Rodeo on Victoria Day weekend in Surrey, British Columbia.
Despite rainy weather on Sunday and Monday, thousands came out to watch the saddle bronc, bull riding, ladies barrel racing and the always popular chariot-racing half-time show.

Aside from a professional rodeo, the event features a county fair with baking and canning competitions, arts and crafts display and horticulture and livestock exhibits and festival rides.

A favorite among locals, the Cloverdale and County Fair has been held every year since 1888.
