Biblioasis Gets Incited
Join the Vancouver International Writers Festival for a new series of illuminating readings and discussions with novelists, poets, non-fiction writers and more, presented in partnership with Vancouver Public Library. The series, which is free to the public, will feature a wide range of Canadian and international authors in events for readers.
On Nov. 23rd, InCite presents three Biblioasis authors: Ray Robertson (Why Not? Fifteen Reasons to Live), Rebecca Rosenblum (Once, The Big Dream), and Cathy Stonehouse (Something About the Animal). Ray Robertson was shortlisted for the 2011 Hilary Weston Rogers Trust Prize for Nonfiction, and Rebecca Rosenblum is the former recipient of the Metcalf-Rooke Award (2008). Come hear some of the best independent literature around.

"Incite is an exploration of books and ideas, in a variety of formats. The events will be a lot like what people experience at the Writers Festival on Granville Island every October-- engaging conversations, panel discussions, on-stage interviews and performances, with authors who are writing fiction, non-fiction, poetry, memoir, graphic novels."--VIWF Artistic Director Hal Wake.
