"Lorelei (Lor) was just 34 years old when she died from Huntington disease. She had an amazing sense of humour and made all those around her laugh. She loved her family and friends dearly. Lor suffered her disease with a strength most of us never see. She was a source of inspiration for all of us" - Karen (Lor's Mother)

Huntington disease is a fatal hereditary brain disorder with devastating effects on both the mind and body. It is like having Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Schizophrenia all at the same time. A child born to a parent with HD has a 50% chance of sharing the same fate. There is no cure.
