Music in the Garden: BMO Family Day
Kids of all ages will love our Family Day at VanDusen Garden! Join Charlotte Diamond as well as The Kerplunks on the Great Lawn for a day of music and rollicking fun. Beloved children’s entertainer Charlotte Diamond has been enthralling kids for 25 years and garnering awards and acclaim along the way. Her lively songs are fun for all – parents and grandparents will be captivated as well! The Kerplunks are a high-energy four-piece band – multi-instrumentalists who sing and play music for children in a variety of styles ranging from swing, jazz, funk, bluegrass, and a variety of world beats. You’ll be singing and dancing in no time!
Between performances you can meet The Green Man and hear a story, have your face painted, visit the ever-popular Tom Lee Musical Petting Zoo, join the interactive drumming circle led by Groove Masters Percussion, and visit the craft tent. This four-hour daytime event is centred around the Great Lawn, so when each new activity starts you’re never far away. Bring your parents for a day of music, flowers, and fun!
