Chinatown Arts and Cultural Festival!

The 11th CHINATOWN ARTS & CULTURAL FESTIVAL – JULY 21-22, 2012

After a one-year hiatus, The Chinatown Arts & Cultural Festival (CACF) returns July 21-22, 2012 with a weekend full of arts and cultural performances celebrating global diversity.  The excitement begins Saturday at 11:30 am in Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park Courtyard with the opening ceremony and a traditional Chinese Lion Dance.  All events are open to the public with free admission.

The Festival boasts unique local talent with engaging and lively performances for the whole family.  Saturday is Asia Day, featuring Martial Arts Demonstrations, Traditional Chinese Opera, Japanese Taiko Drumming, and much more!  The Festival wraps-up Sunday with Multicultural Day, showcasing global performances including a Drum Show, Carnival Band, Western Dance, among others.
