Mrigya in Concert: The Sounds of the Sufis

Delhi-based world music band Mrigya presents a mystical concert for those who believe that music transcends all borders.  The internationally acclaimed, award-winning ensemble returns to their roots for Indian Summer, presenting an evening of Hindustani and Sufi music. A Sufi/Qawwali duet by Gulaam Qadar and Sukriti Sen will open the evening, accompanied by Gyan Singh on the Tabla. Tickets are $25 and $50 (premium seating) at Indiansummerfestival.ca
