For the better part of the 21st century, Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir have spread their message, from Occupy Wall Street to the St. Louis offices of Monsanto (and the police station in nearby Ferguson, Missouri) to the stage at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater in New York, and out into arenas opening for Neil Young.

The Earth Wants YOU will inspire readers and listeners with visions of a wild, creative, Earth-led cultural revolution. Stop shopping and sign up now for the struggle of our lives!

Laurie Anderson says, "You must check out the newest from my favourite transcendent and down to earth preacher.”

Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir are on the front lines of creative direct action.  Based in New York City, they take their activism around the globe, from Times Square and your local Walmart, to the recent climate talks in Paris.  Reverend Billy was the subject of Morgan Spurlock’s documentary What Would Jesus Buy?

Here’s a recent profile of Billy in the U.S. edition of The Guardian & Business Insider, as well as a radio interview at 43 min inView the book trailer here.
